How It Works
Eligibility Criteria
EDOs must be government or public-private entities providing economic development services for a U.S. jurisdiction at the rural or tribal level. Associations or membership-based organizations are not eligible to apply.
Rural and tribal EDO definitions must be met and included in the application.
If the maximum number of designations or passes is reached prior to the application deadline, the selection process will close and no further applications will be accepted.
For State and Tribal Level EDO Exhibitors:
- PER STATE or TRIBE: Maximum two designees for the Invest in Rural America cohort.
- One of the two designees can receive one complimentary exhibition hall access pass.
- The second organization/representative can apply to join the cohort at the applicable rate.
- Rural EDOs must contact their state or tribal level EDO to apply to join the 2027 Invest in Rural America cohort. Visit the EDO State Directory: HERE
Applications to join the cohort must be submitted via the State or Tribal exhibitor portal by January 22, 2027.
All Other Rural and Tribal EDOs (Non-Exhibitors):
If you represent a rural EDO from a state or tribe that is not currently exhibiting, there is still opportunity for you to attend the 2027 SelectUSA Investment Summit.
- Up to five complimentary exhibition hall passes are available for rural and tribal EDOs from states or tribal locations not exhibiting.
- Passes are awarded on a first come, first serve basis, or until the application deadline of January 22, 2027.
