Matchmaking

June 10 – 12, 2019 | Washington Hilton, Washington, D.C.

Matchmaking

Matchmaking is one of the most valuable and integral parts of the SelectUSA Investment Summit. It facilitates interactions and connections between investors and economic developers, giving all participants the ability to initiate new business relationships and build on existing ones.

The Investment Summit matchmaking tool provides a digital platform for attendees from international companies to search for participating economic development organizations, government agencies, service providers, and other event sponsors. By setting up meetings with key participants in advance of the Investment Summit, attendees can make the most of their time and accomplish months’ worth of networking in a few days.

All Investment Summit attendees are encouraged to participate in the matchmaking system.

Why Use the Investment Summit Matchmaking System?

Connect, network, and keep a record of all your meetings at the Investment Summit
  • Arrange meetings with the right people prior to the event

  • Conduct market research

Steps to Participate in Matchmaking

Step 1: Apply to Attend the Investment Summit

All applicants who are approved to attend the Investment Summit will have access to the matchmaking system. During the application process, questions will be asked to help build your matchmaking profile.

Step 2: Review Instructions and Finalize Profile

Once applicants are approved to attend the Investment Summit, a confirmation email will be sent including log-in instructions. Approved attendees should ensure that the information on their matchmaking profile is correct and complete to maximize their experience with the system.

Step 3: Start Setting Up Meetings

The matchmaking system will provide attendees with the opportunity to search for possible meetings based on multiple criteria. Meeting requests are sent; then accepted or declined in the system, and a personal schedule is created.
